We are really excited to celebrate you the amazing photographers who give so much to our organization year after year. Kids, their workers, and the people here at Ampersand Families and the Minnesota Heart Gallery are so proud and thankful for all that you do for us. We want you to be proud of what you do too!

Over the next couple weeks think about what you like about being a Minnesota Heart Gallery Photographer. We want to celebrate you, and all you do! Be proud of what you do, and know that we can never express how thankful we are for all you do!

We're Live!

Hello Minnesota Heart Gallery fans, friends and supporters

Our new website is finally up and running, after many months of design work and fine-tuning our mission. We are so pleased with the final product and excited to show it off!

One thing has changed: We no longer will be posting names and information about the youth we picture on the site. The reason for this decision is that Minnesota Heart Gallery is not the state's official photolisting of waiting children. In fact, many of the youth pictured here are already living with their permanent families. The purpose of Minnesota Heart Gallery is to educate and raise awareness that on any given day there are hundreds of children and youth living in temporary foster care placements in Minnesota while they await adoption into permanent families. The photos here are posted with the permission of youth and the adults (social workers or parents) responsible for them. Thank you to all of them for providing these stunning images to help raise awareness in our community.

If you are considering adopting a Minnesota waiting child, please visit www.mnadopt.org to view the state's official photo listing, and to request more information about particular youth be sent to your home study worker.
